Easter Broccoli Salad Side Dish

Easter is almost here!  Wondering what side dishes to serve at your Easter Celebration.  One of my favorites and I must say one of the easiest side dishes to make is the Broccoli Salad!

This broccoli salad recipe that I continue to make for special occasions has bacon, broccoli, onions and more.  My family loves it and I’m sure yours will too!

Let’s get right to how to make this Yummy Broccoli Salad!

Broccoli Salad Recipe

Items you will need from the grocery store or home:

Broccoli

Colby Cheese: Chunks or Shredded (Optional)

Red Onion

Mayonnaise

Raisins

Sugar

Salt

Pepper

Apple Cider Vinegar

Sunflower Seeds

Bacon – Optional, but does make it Yummy!

Ingredients and Measurements:

1 head of Broccoli Florets

8 oz. Cheese – Chunked or Shredded (Optional)

1/4 cup Red Onion

1/2 cup Raisins

1/4 cup Sugar

1 cup of Mayonnaise

2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

1/4 cup Sunflower Seeds (Optional)

1 lb of Bacon Crumbled

Broccoli Salad Instructions:

First let’s make the dressing.  It’s fast and easy!

In a bowl mix the Mayonnaise, Sugar, Apple Cider Vinegar, Salt and Pepper and set to the side.

Then in a large mixing bowl add your broccoli florets, cheese, red onion, raisins, sunflower seeds and the bacon.

Pour the dressing over the mix and coat the mix well.  Put the salad in your serving dish. Refrigerate salad for approximately 30 minutes before serving.  Now, one delicious side dish is ready to serve.
